Baby Sitters Training

The Ontario Safety League babysitting course has been reviewed by several expert organizations. It is designed to educate babysitters by providing knowledge, assurance and competency to confidently protect and care for children.

The course consists of the basics of first aid, what to do in case of fire and how to confidently care for and entertain children. Students must complete four hours of voluntary practical experience and complete appropriate teacher instruction. The Ontario Safety League recommends students should be 12 year of age or older. (Younger students may certainly take the course, but cannot receive their certificate until age 12.)
