Baby Sitters Training

The Ontario Safety League Babysitter’s Training Course

The Ontario Safety League Babysitter’s Training Course has been reviewed by several expert organizations. It is designed to educate babysitters by providing knowledge, assurance, and competency to confidently protect and care for children.

The course materials cover the basics of first aid, what to do in case of fire, and how to confidently care for and entertain children. The Ontario Safety League recommends that students be 12 years of age or older. (Younger students may take the course, but cannot receive their certificate until age 12.)

Please note: The Ontario Safety League no longer offers in-person or virtual training for the Babysitter’s Course. However, the course books are still available for purchase for classroom use.
